I am passionate about “after happily-ever-after” love stories, about finding joy in suffering, and about the sacred ordinary moments in life that bring us closer to God. You’ll find examples of all of those types of stories here, as well as links to work that’s been published elsewhere. If you subscribe to my newsletter, you’ll receive periodic notes from me (with fun things like “behind the story” trivia, upcoming news, and book recommendations). When I’m not reading or writing, I love to hike, do crafts of all kinds (especially knitting), garden, and eat chocolate and black licorice. My favorite people in the world are my husband and three teens (yes, teens can be amazing people), and you’ll find me soaking up the moments with them every chance I get. They’re also my first editors, beta readers, and critics for everything that I write, so you can always know my stories have passed the Barcalow Four litmus test (which also means my stories are always clean and appropriate for young audiences).
